SULI Internship at ORNL
While at Oak Ridge National Laboratories (ORNL) in the summer of 2006, I was working under the DOE's SULI (Scientific Undergraduate Laboratory Internships) on "Phase Separation Between Perpendicular and Parallel Ferromagnetic Ordering in a Quantum Well Model of Ga1-xMnxAs"
The SULI program was the largest at ORNL with 45 participants. The program is run well and almost everything is taken care of. They had several seminars for participants, and my department, Condensed Matter Division, had plenty of seminars about a variety of topics.
ORNL is located only about 20 minutes from Nashville, TN.
